I founded The Kritter Sitter in 2007. It's my third career and first small business venture. My earlier careers were with the Air Force (Chief Master Sergeant, 22.5 years) and the US Department of Agriculture (20 years). My love and compassion for animals made choosing pet sitting as my third career easy! I get to spend my time assuring the animals entrusted to us receive the best possible care from the best possible pet sitters in Delaware. What's not to love about that?! Originally from Hatfield, PA, I now live in Camden, where I share my home with 3 Labrador Retrievers.

I'm originally from Washington State, and made my way to Delaware via the US Air Force. I grew up in the wheat fields of Ritzville, WA with many pets, including dogs, cats, horses, cows, pigs and chickens. Before joining The Kritter Sitter full-time, I worked as a facilities manager, office manager and practice administrator for several medical practices in Maryland and Delaware. The Kritter Sitter wonderfully combines my love of animals and my business skills / savvy - it's a perfect fit!

Judythe malinowski

I'm originally from Newark, but have lived all over the country, courtesy of the US Air Force. I've always had pets -  including hamsters, mice, dogs, cats, a bearded dragon, anoles, goats and even a hedgehog!  I volunteered as a docent at the Salisbury Zoo while in college, and rode and cared for horses in New Mexico. I'm currently living in Magnolia with one dog, Manny (that's him in the picture), four cats, two goats and a bearded dragon.

I'm originally from Long Island, NY, but have lived in Delaware since I was 12 years old. I've always been an animal lover, and have had all sorts of pets - dogs, cats, frogs and snakes. I seem to be an "animal magnet" - maybe it's my bubbly personality?  I also work as a physical therapist; caring is just in my nature.

I'm originally from Hatfield, PA; I moved to Delaware when I was adopted at age 8. I'm a life-long animal lover, and currently have two cats of my own and two "grand-dogs." I joined The Kritter Sitter in 2015 as a part-time career and absolutely love caring for the families and their pets! Caring is my passion, and also inspires my full-time career: I love working as a Registered Nurse at Bayhealth Medical Center.

I am a recent Wesley College graduate with a degree in biological chemistry. And, I have a houseful of animals! Right now, I have 5 cats that I own + 1 foster cat, a dog, a bearded dragon and a goat! (Well, the goat doesn't live in the house exactly...) I've lived with animals all my life, so my caretaking repertoire pretty much spans the species from fish to mice to goats and horses. And I just love them all, so pet sitting is a real joy for me!

I've been an animal lover all my life. I volunteered with an animal rescue service in Maryland, and began pet sitting as a caretaker for my colleagues' pets. I've worked in private and professional pet sitting since 2009, joining The Kritter Sitter in 2011. I'm also employed full-time by Forrest Avenue Animal Hospital as a veterinary assistant. I'm sharing my photo op with my friend, Sandy.

I'm a proud Delaware native who has always loved - and shared my life with - all types of animals. I'm pictured here with my "soul dog," Riley; I also have another dog, three cats, two PacMan frogs, a crested gecko, a veiled chameleon and a Jackson's chameleon. Whew! What a menagerie! But - I love them all! I also love nature and the outdoors; you can count on seeing me at any event that welcomes Riley.

I grew up with a natural love for animals, and always had some critter running around the house. I've known since I could form my own thoughts that I wanted a job working with animals - and, here I am! It's great being a pet sitter!
